The Vipava Valley is located in the western part of Slovenia, on the border with Central Slovenia, in the Friuli plain. The flat valley floor is home to the main water artery of the region - the Vipava River, which connects the upper and lower end of the valley together. The journey begins in Vipava and then ends with the influence in the Isonza above the Italian border.
The area is pedological and climatic very diverse, suggesting that agricultural activities as well as the culture are very different. The Vipava Valley with its high levels is an area of many colors. In the early spring the winter paints a masterpiece on the high plains, while the valley all white shines because of the flowers. And when in the summer of wheat equal shines gold, switch to the plateaus in the fiery heat of green meadows her robe in a vivid pink world, the peach ripens. Finally, while on the plateau ripen raspberries ... and the grapes turn back on the valley floor with a smile back. Worlds parallel at the same time...
