SNOW FUN IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER

This is what you can experience on the Hintertux Glacier! In Austria's only year-round ski area, skiers and snowboarders can even in the summer months. Whether skiing, in the natural ice palace deep inside the glacier, with snow tubing in Luis' Glacier Flea Park or as part of the glacier EXPERIENCE tour. But there is a lot to offer not only at 3,250 m. The Spannagel Cave (2,530 m) is the largest marble cave in the Central Alps and can be explored several times a day.

In the hiking area on the Sommerberg at 2,100 m, the motto is: “On safari, get set, go!” In the exciting adventure course, young and old glacier detectives learn exciting things about the mystery of the glacier at interactive stations. The Luis ‘ball safari is integrated into the glacier flea safari. Whether on the wave run or through the narrow crevasse - with so many possibilities there is guaranteed to be no boredom!

The breathtaking view of the eternal ice and the surrounding mountain peaks from the panorama terrace at 3,250 m are not denied even families with prams and wheelchair users and can be reached barrier-free from the underground car park of the valley station.
