We have redefined the chalet holiday in the Salzburg Saalachtal and, with great dedication, created a place of peace and relaxation for you. This way, the most precious days of the year – your holiday in the Salzburg Saalachtal – truly become a time of rest and rejuvenation.

Our heritage farm in Unken, which has been in our family since 1380, lies far from noise and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled in the mountains of the Salzburg Saalachtal, surrounded by lush meadows and pastures, we are situated on a gentle hilltop with breathtaking panoramic views.

The farm, with its mostly original, historic outbuildings (including the “Hühnerstall” alpine chalet) and its own chapel, forms a charming little hamlet with no direct neighbours – the perfect spot for your quiet getaway in Austria.

In your own private garden right outside the door, you’ll find a Weber gas grill, garden furniture, a sun lounger, a parasol, and even a fire pit. For children, there’s also a climbing tower with a swing, slide, and sandbox.

You are welcome to taste and purchase our farm’s own products, such as bacon, fruit brandy, jams, and more.

You can choose between the “Hühnerstall” – a small alpine chalet for up to 4 people – and the “Kuhstall”, a cosy holiday apartment in the farmhouse with its own entrance and private terrace, offering space for up to 6 people. Both are equipped with a sauna, and the “Hühnerstall” also features an outdoor whirlpool !
