Sonnensee Ritzing

The showpiece of Ritzing is our idyllically situated bathing lake!

It is located outside the village and can be reached via a well-maintained road. Here you can enjoy the 42,000 m² facility with its spacious sunbathing areas and the clear, warm water.

Surrounded by deep green, shady forests and lush meadows, the Sonnensee offers fun for the whole family in and around the water.

A wide range of activities awaits you.
There are water slides, a diving facility, a swimming island, a huge sandy beach with shade for the little ones, sun terraces, the opportunity to try scuba diving, day cabins, solar showers, parasol and sun lounger hire, stand-up paddling, a massage room, a beach volleyball court, a children's playground and tennis courts.

A paved and illuminated path leads around the lake. A fenced-off non-swimmer area offers safety. There is a large terrace in the outdoor area. The entire facility is handicapped accessible.

The lake also has a self-service restaurant. In addition to an extensive food and drink menu, visitors can choose from two daily menus.
Under the name “Seekantine”, there is also a summer lounge with comfortable seating and a range of freshly mixed summer drinks.
At weekends, the Seekantine organizes barbecues and other events that invite you to relax and dance after the pool closes.
