Les Thuiles

The village of Thuiles, set against a hillside plunging down to the Ubaye river, faces the Grande Séolane, the valley's iconic peak. It takes its name from the old pottery factories.

Today, it is made up of several hamlets set into the mountainside, from which you can embark on wonderful days out hiking in the heart of nature.

Its cultural heritage, including chapels, mills and sundials, can be discovered as you wander along its sloping lanes.
