The communities of Haus im Ennstal and Aich are located in the beautiful Ennstal valley in the heart of the Schladming-Dachstein adventure region.

Although each village has its own individual charms and excursion destinations - as you can see from the following brief descriptions - tourism and cultural cooperation within the two communities, but of course also with the surrounding communities and within the Schladming-Dachstein Tourism Association, is very important and intensively cultivated.

Haus im Ennstal
Nestled in the magnificent mountain world of the Schladminger Tauern in the south and the Dachstein mountains in the north lies the upper Styrian Enns Valley. The market town of HAUS can also be found here - and right in the middle is MARKT Haus (774 m) as the center of the community.
The municipal area stretches from the Dachstein plateau in the north with a wonderful karst and alpine pasture area across the Enns Valley to the Tauern side in the south. The contrast between the water-poor limestone and the water-rich primary rock provides the special charm of these diverse natural landscapes.
Whether summer or winter - Haus im Ennstal offers the right leisure activities at any time of year.
Summer: golf course, outdoor adventure pool, pit-pat facility, open-air Kneipp facility, tennis courts in Haus and Weißenbach, Haus sports field (soccer, tennis and athletics), asphalt curling track of the Weißenbach ice shooters' club, archery, numerous mountain bike trails and hiking routes for beginners, connoisseurs and professionals, winter sports museum, ...

Aich
In summer, the leisure lake complex with all its facilities such as beach volleyball, table tennis, children's playground, climbing tower, two clay tennis courts and a children's tennis court is very popular. Aich is also home to the Erzherzog Johann shooting range and a wide range of well-marked hiking trails.
In addition to the Schladming 4-mountain ski area Hauser Kaibling-Planai-Hochwurzen-Reiteralm on the doorstep with its numerous winter sports facilities, there is also an extensive network of cross-country ski trails in winter - provided there is sufficient natural snow.
The district of Gössenberg with the highest peak of the Schladminger Tauern - the Hochwildstelle - rises above Aich like a spine. The wonderful water landscape of the “Seewigtal” nature reserve is nestled in the middle.
The unique Seewigtal valley with the 3-lake landscape of Steirischer Bodensee-Hüttensee-Obersee has been a popular day trip destination for decades. Two well-maintained panoramic roads allow access almost to the end of the valley (1,143m). The mountain community, so fascinatingly shaped by nature, offers a variety of leisure activities in both summer and winter.
