Achieving a respectable 2000 hours of sunshine a year, Lienz boasts the title of being Austria's sunniest town and the family ski resort Zettersfeld is one of the most stunning "sun terraces" of the Alps. In the surrounding scenery of the astonishing Dolomites you will experience nature at its best, renew your energy and get a feeling of well-being.

Zettersfeld is equipped with 6 lift facilities, which bring you comfortably up to an altitude of 2278 metres above sea level, where snow is guaranteed.

As a counterbalance to the demanding slopes of Hochstein, this ski resort is very appreciated among families and those winter sports enthusiasts who simply want to enjoy a relaxing day on the snow.

Mittelhang & Stieralm – New for Winter 2026/27

The Lienzer Bergbahnen invest every year in expanding and improving the efficiency of our snowmaking system.

We are currently working on the expansion of piste No. 3, **“Mittelhang”**, as well as piste No. 4, **“Stieralm”**.

We are already looking forward to welcoming you next winter 2026/27 and offering you two additional pistes!
