MTB tour to discover the charming towns and villages of Canavese, its panoramas and excellences. Gentle crossings among the ups and downs of the Erbaluce vineyards, castles, Romanesque and historical testimonies that will surprise you. The itinerary was promoted within the platform as part of the PITEM M.I.T.O. project. – Outdoor OFF - Interreg Italy-France Cross-Border Cooperation Program ALCOTRA 2014-2020.

The second stage proposed starts from Caluso (via San Clemente - altitude 320 m asl), on the back of the hill on which the ancient castle now called "Castellazzo" stood. The Path begins just past the top of the hill, on the right, along the dirt track that runs alongside the wall of the house present there, keeping the same on the left. From here hikers will be able to enjoy a very beautiful stretch of itinerary which, following a sinuous route along the west-east axis characterized by slight ups and downs, crosses some of the most beautiful Erbaluce vineyards in the area: some panoramic views from which the view extends as far as the Serra di Ivrea, the Castle of Masino and, closer, the town of Candia and the hamlet of Barengo di Mazzè. After about 750 m from via San Clemente, the track enters a very nice cart track that represents the old road that allowed the connection between Caluso and Vische, turn right and go up for about a hundred meters to turn left, at of a votive pillar, along a road that once again runs alongside valuable vineyards. At about 1300 m from the start in Caluso, the two itineraries, always coinciding SPB and AV (main track) cross the SP 84 (at km 0.3) which from Caluso descends towards Lake Candia and leads to Vische. After the SP 84, at an altitude of 300 m above sea level, the Path goes around a recently built building on the left and goes up towards the hill that separates the Municipality of Caluso from the Municipality of Mazzè, so-called of the "tre doss" due to the fluctuating trend of the altitudes on which the present hilly track winds. The stretch in question after passing some vineyards enters a dense coppice dominated by chestnut trees, where, however, especially in the winter period, it is possible to appreciate some panoramic points on the underlying Lake Candia, until you come out on a wider dirt road which connects the town of Mazzè (via Canglio) to its hamlet Cascina Motta: from here it is easy to reach the town of Mazzè located about 1 km away. Turning right, you pass just beyond an irrigation ditch, a branch of the historic and well-known Caluso State Canal, and you enter along the north-west route
