In the footsteps of Van Gogh

Starting from the rural commune of Livilliers, follow this 21km route set in a breathtaking bucolic setting.

Some places not to miss along the route:

Livilliers:

- Located on a cereal plateau, you will discover a typical village where the Church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Nativité-et-Saint-Fiacre is located, a small gem of the Vexin heritage and classified as a Historic Monument in 1936.

Hérouville:

- In the heart of the countryside, the commune has hosted major international artists at the recording studio in the Château d'Hérouville between 1969 and 1985.

Auvers-sur-Oise:

- World famous, the painters' village has been and continues to be a source of inspiration for artists' souls. Pass in front of the Town Hall, take a break at the Auberge Ravoux (Van Gogh's room), wander the streets leading to the various museums (Daubigny, Absinthe...), visit the Château and its gardens, discover the 3 houses of famous figures (Doctor Gachet, Daubigny Studio, Boggio Studios).
