Adventure on Gemeindealpe

Once in Mitterbach, don't miss to visit 1626m high Gemeindealpe. It's one of Lower Austria's premium destinations and offers fun, action and of course recreation!
Two chairlifts take you on top of the mountain where you can enjoy a great view on the surrounding alpine world.

Gemeindealpe is a perfect spot to start various hikes between the mountainlake Erlaufsee and Ötscher. Also paragliders value the mountain, because of its exposed position.

Fun guaranteed: don' t miss a ride on the mountaincarts or monster-scooters 4.6km back to Mitterbach (start: changing station of the chairlifts).

Of course there are restaurants and cabins along the way!
