Tux-Finkenberg is located at the foot of the Hintertux Glacier in the heart of the Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000! Thanks to the substantial elevation at 3250 metres above sea level, we are guaranteed snow and the white winter wonderland that you would expect. With ease you can reach fantastic heights, explore vast expanses and enjoy snow-based adventures one after the other!
Start from the Eggalm ski paradise and ski to the sun-kissed plateau at Rastkogel, then take the breath-taking panorama descent or the 150er Tux aerial tramway to Active Mountain Penken with the Vans Penken Park and the Harakiri Run, after which travel back along the same route or - if you want something different – take one of the powder pistes down to Finkenberg, Vorderlanersbach or Lanersbach.
And that’s not all! You are right next door to the highlight of the region, the Hintertux Glacier, Austria’s most attractive and only all-year-round ski region with guaranteed powder snow from October to May. Even just travelling with the Gletscherbus 3 gondola lift up to 3250 m.a.s.l. is a fascinating event in itself. Up here near the sky there are a panoramic terrace, snowpark, the Tuxer Fernerhaus restaurant, the Sommerbergalm and the start of the awesome 12 km snow-decked run down into the valley.
